  • I like your bag, where did you get it?

  • Great video

  • Hey mike im looking for a really good pack i could use to put all my day kit in, do you have any suggestions? Erica.

  • A great prep video. Im a bit of a novice, but I would have piled those leaves up a bit under the bedding. Yep they were wet but so is the ground.

  • Some of the best advice I have ever heard was this ...Scoutmaster was talking to two young Scouts just before bedtime while camping it the cold, rainy, weather..

."I can't guarantee you will never go to bed cold, wet, or hungry boys, but I can guarantee you this....YOU WILL REMEMBER IT, and you won't make the same mistakes in the future!

I still remember that moment, like it just happened one second ago.

So good to see you in the wilds again matey !:-)

  • I have the same Bivy and I found it warm also, bought to serve the same purpose. I found the weak sewing quality also, and did the Gorilla Duct tape around the edge as a result (mine tore too, but now it doesn't. But, then again it served it's purpose well.

I don't quite agree with your assessment about learning to not repeat errors..YES you will remember and NO you won't repeat them, because you have experienced the results.

Great video, real life stuff. U just don't see this stuff on YT
