THIS ONE HAS A BOBBY FULLER FOUR FEEL TO IT. THEY'RE THE SAME GROUP FROM TORONTO THAT DID CORNFLAKES AND ICE CREAM ON APEX. I THINK IT'S THEIR SECOND RELEASE.
@Misfire45, Gerry Jimerfield passed away some years ago other than that they are still alive,my dad and Sid both still live in the Durango area, last I had hear Jerry Schoenfield lived in Pagosa Springs, Roger and Ernie from the California days I couldn't say. My Dad might know more.
@dbeuten What happened to all the band members? I mean are they mostly all still alive? I do like this cover of David Box's Little Lonely Summer Girl.
@ sjimerfield Yes he was. The main lineup as I remember from when i was a toddler was my dad (Tommy Beuten), Jerry Jimerfield, Jerry Schoenfield and Sid Lavelle. There was also for a time a guy named Roger who played the Bass and a guy named Ernie that played keyboards (back when they were in California).
TOKENHIPPIE54...Thanks for posting this...I'm the guy singing on this version of the song and as my son said these Lords of London were from Durango,Colorado, not Toronto...And like my son, I'm real curious as to where in the hell you came up with this...Thanks...Tommy Beuten
In 1964-'67 ish There were two bands trying "make it" called The Lords of London. This particular "Lords" were based out of Bemont,CA not Toronto ironically most of the bands members were from the area around Durango,Colorado. My Dad is/was the lead singer lead guitarist of this band. I thank you for posting this!!! Where you did you find it?
