@blueflagboyify Yes, it's German. This is a parody of Bernhard Grzimek, whose animal documentary were pretty famos in the sixties in Germany.

A huge BOOL sea lion...
-
it is actually a spoof (and a brilliant one) on "Heinz Sielmann" who did animal documentaries on tv in the seventies and eighties. he is even mentioned in the sketch (3:01)

Some times I wonder if the Pythons were not secret disciples of as their parody of Darwin’s Survival of the fittest resembles somewhat Nietzsche’s objection: “As for the famous “struggle for existence”, so far it seems to me to be asserted rather than proved. It occurs, but as an exception; the total appearance of life is not the extremity, not starvation, but rather riches, profusion, even absurd squandering--and where there is struggle, it is a struggle for power.”

I love how he has a chart on the wall that simply states "how rich I am".
And that bust sports a moustache.

Its very fitting that no one has disliked this, all of them were killed by the huge BOOL Sealions XD

British comedies are great, since they know how to do it and when to stop before they completely kill something. Wish I could say the same thing about mainstream American entertainment. Hell, there are a lot of things I wish I could say about American entertainment. A few examples ; " Most of it is great" "It encourages thinking" "How clever" "I don't feel insulted" I'm not trying to offend anyone, but the American media today makes me sick, and yes I'm American.

I think this is supposed to be a parody of the Nazi survival-of-the-fittest propaganda films that they used to justify euthanasia.

Can someone explain to me why Princess Margaret is pitted against a breakfast? Is this some joke that everyone has forgotten, or is it just random?

"Seeing off an inTROOding BOOL, who is attempting to inTROOD on his hair-eem" XD
I'm not sure what accent Cleese is attempting. The DVD captions just describe it as "foreign".

@blueflagboyify I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a very silly sounding german accent.

@massiveattack786 There is one where they play a kind of "agent chasing bad guy" parody, where the agent and the bad guy are a pantomime horse, it's from the same episode though, I don't think the pantomime horses made any other appearances on the show.
