Not to be mistaken for being part of the Madame Tussauds group, Blackpool's own homage to human likeness in wax, Louis Tussauds Waxworks, boasts 150 figures from the worlds of the stage, politics, sport and royalty.
Louis Tussaud, arrived in Blackpool after leaving London following a fire. His first display - from July that year - was in the basement of the Hippodrome Theatre on Church Street, before moving to the Brunswick Café, South Beach in 1901.
