I actually have a 120 mm Delta fan in my HAF932 case, it's awesome, but I have a controller, so it doesn't go all 60 db on my ears. I love these fans, they're the best at pushing air, or even blowing it in. There is no reason not to have it inside a pc case, just get a 45W fan controller, you can have as many fans as you want, and the noise won't botter you at all. Kudos for Delta !

Still wont beat mine. It sounds like a german bomber plane.

who wants this loud fan in a pc (the second one)

@gokart55z This is more of an industrial fan for things where noise isn't a problem. Like servers or any other industrial equipment requiring lot's of air movement.

you can get them that are quieter with better berrings

I'd say about 95% of the noise is wind noise so better bearings wouldn't make much of a difference. It'll still be unbearable loud.

I do have a rheostat capable of adjusting this fan. Only a few dedicated PC fan controllers are able to control this variably. Most are just on/off.
A standard 80mm fan is 25mm deep. There are thinner ones and thicker ones but those usually have all dimensions specified.
