  • dang, so nice and silent, what driver circuit are You using?

  • @C0ldFart I used a very simple setup, sone npn transistor, a diode, a function generator (I think, it's already a long time ago). Later I made a setup with an IRFP460 n-channel mosfet, results in another video (iginiton coil v2)

  • @w00zar well, yeah, plasma is cooler in a vacuum chamber, plus, my comment was from when i was an electronics noob :)

  • yes, the temperature greatly varies with the real butter zone of plasma where it will start melting the wires easily =D

  • omg yes.. :D but there are indeed some differences concerning the temperature ;).. I got some other transformers now, so this video is kind of outdated
