I agree, I have Old Ground and Rain and Thunder as Clan Na Gael! Saw them at the Harp and Thistle long time ago (sometime between 1993-1995) in St. Pete ... Keep missing their shows elsewhere. Planning on going in a few weeks to see them though :)

This song is so addictive, and amazing, who would ever think all rock needed was some bagpipes to make it perfect? I feel like Pavlov's dog, hitting that repeat button for more more more, on instinct I just can not get enough of hearing this amazing song.

@LTSeamus Parmenides320 is absolutely right and correct!!! I watched Seven Nations perform live with my own eyes when they were known as Clan Na Gael back in 1995. I met these guys in person and even had a few beers and conversation with the bass player, Struby. Check your facts before you make write things that are factually incorrect.

Saw Seven Nations when I was like thirteen at the Spyglass Winery Celtic Festival in Sunbury Pennsylvania. I got the chance to give all of the band members a hug. I love the shit out of these guys.

Has anyone heard "Daze of Grace" by Seven Nations? Pretty amazing recording - but I can't seem to find it...

Neil Anderson is still piping. He is on Facebook and his latest band is called Rathkeltair. He is a friend of ours. Maj. Neil Anderson, US Army--married with 3 kids now. Wow--14 years ago we met and bought him a guinness, seems like yesterday!

@LTSeamus...you are right I have the old ground CD with Clan Na Gael. Great stuff.

The Original Line up of Seven was the best!! When they had the dude on bag pipes and tin flute (I think his name was Neil)...those guys really rocked!!! I saw them concert about 10 times all around Virginia and became a 7N groupy. When Neil left I stopped keeping up with them. Their first couple of cd's were the best...especially "Road Kill" vol.1&2.
They've always been Seven Nations...

@LTSeamus No, they weren't. They were originally called Clan Na Gael but changed their name in 1997 to Seven Nations when it was learned that there was another group with the name Clan Na Gael. (SEE: Wikipedia article for Seven Nations (band)) As I said, my Old Ground CD has the name Clan Na Gael on it, not Seven Nations. If I had a scanner I'd scan it for you. Their 10 year reunion album with original band members Nick Watson and Neil Anderson is called, "Clan Na Gael: 10 Years On"

@Baron4ever17 When I first saw them they were Clan Na Gael,. In fact, the CD I ripped this from is a Clan Na Gael CD. Thought it best to upload song with album art with new name.
