Amazing footage. I was five years old when this happened and I'm sorry to say I remember nothing about this.
-
@TheTweeter53 What I have from CBS was in black & white too. Now I've seen NBC's in color though but was it color at the time or was it 'touched up later'?
-
@4sm2use Beethoven. It is also traditionally played each year on Remembrance Sunday, immediately after The Queen and Royal Family have laid their wreaths at the Cenotaph.

Gosh you Americans take state funerals at an amazing lick
-
@HelmerReenberg How did you acquire this color footage of JFK's funeral? I vividly recall watching the funeral as an 8 year old boy in black and white.
-
Does anyone know the name of the funeral dirge at 5:59? It was used for slow march at the queen mother's funeral.
-
Cool drum cadence, but it is not the right one. The navy choir was actually singing at the white house lawn when the procession returned from the capitol.
-
The list of all the music plalyed during the funeral and who played it is found at the President Kennedy Library Website
What are the names of the songs you picked. Awsome work !!!!!

Hi. The songs are from the original soundtrack. I'll try to find the ''soundtrack'' info.
