10 Feet Project is a Non-Profit Organization began in 1980.

The intention of this organization is to raise funds through donations from citizens of Hiroshima to purchase film footage shot by US government in Hiroshima a the time of nuclear bomb then produce films utilizing these footages, show these films all over the world to let people understand the cruelty of war.

The cost of purchasing these films from U.S. Library of Congress was 10 feet per 3,000 yen therefore, the organization urged citizens to donate 3000 yen each so each person can purchase 10 feet of film.

In 1982, 10 Feet Project completed purchasing all films shot in Hiroshima by U.S. government and begun producing documentary films utilizing these footages.

Since then 10 Feet Project has produced three award winning documentary films and held the screening all over Japan.

I recreate the event on a flight simulator and use the virtual nuclear weapons with virtual B-29's.

It's fun.I have a friend who was a USAAF B-29 bombardier in the 462nd bombardment group. He had many bombing missions over japan. He is 87 years in age and he gave me his USAF missileer's medal.

  • No country is worse than another. Soldiers of ALL countries raped, tortured and slaughtered women and children. It is only the dead who know the reality of war.

  • @shounenbat510 Bringo!

  • @CLFDevil your people may not but your government does, as well as they hate your own people by forbidding them from free speech..

  • Thanks america you fucking haters

  • @missaikoaiko I think war itself is crime. Many normal citizen died in Hiroshima,Nagasaki...Just like us people...So rather than pointing finger at "countries", we can look into ourselves as human being, capable of harming each other with hatred. Hatred is the cause of war. We can just have compassion for those people who suffered with tragedy. With compassion, learn from our past and our nature, we can reach peace. No meaning on arguments.

  • This film is so important.

    God bless you.

  • It saddens me to see so much hatred. I wish the Chinese and Japanese could learn from history and move forward to peace.

  • Think about it. How many countries have the Japanese invaded, raped and killed? Their soldiers were ordered to drag all male of fighting age to be executed. They even renamed my country to their liking. They bombed us every single day. They tortured and kill all those who opposed them and forced everyone to sing their ugly national anthem. Innocent my blood hell. They lied to their children in their history books. They are the real murderers.

  • Your burnt face as a result of A-bomb blasts look like a monster face. Your moster face is a reflection of imperial japanese monsterous deeds committed to many Asians. Look at your face how hidious you look--That's called "Kama."

  • @missaikoaiko To be properly share the sentiments of people died from the A-bombs blasts with people around the world, the japanese government should fully acknowledge its wrongdoings that it committed to all the Asians under the imperialistic invasion. Until there is even a single person left asking for the compensation and no one condamn the wrongdoings of the imperial japan, and no attempt or presences to justifiy the cause, it is actually absurd for japanese to ask the sentiments,
