The Dream Became Reality - 12 String - Eric Christopher

Here's an older song performed on my new Taylor Leo Kottke Signature Model 12-String (LKSM).

I literally dreamt 90% of this song. I woke up in the morning and finalized it...it took about 30 minutes. The song is somewhat simple...but that's what you could expect from something from my dreams.

The guitar is absolutely AMAZING! Unfortunately this recording doesn't do it justice.

The guitar is tuned in drop-D, but a minor 3rd lower (B-F#-B-E-G#-C#)

Happy dreaming! You must be sleeping well if these are your dreams. I own a LKSM12 for some time now and was never really happy with it until Joe Carpenter gave me the tip to use heavier strings in general and a wound 10'th string particular. That changed a lot!

Yeah, it's specially braced to be used with heavy strings...and tuned downed a minor third. It makes it sound like nothing else out there.

I to own an LKSM-12 and I have not touched my 6 string very much since I got it. Your playing is very good. Tone is rich and warm. The adjacent bass strings crashing together really gives the LKSM a wonderful sound.
