Shot at a small Brighton art gallery, this video reveals several of the audio-visual machines built by multi-media artist Ian Helliwell. As well as a selection of his super 8 film and slide work, the exhibition included the Hellisizer 2000, The Lumitherm, the Hellioptical and The Megatherm. The latter 2 kinetic machines both feature special super 8 films which interact with photocells to generate electronic sounds.
