I love this picture and music! Rio Bravo is one of my favorite westerns. I can watch it every time it comes on. I love Dean Martin and his voice. Also Ricky Nelson, Ward Bond, and Walter Brennen. What a great cast and also Angie Dickinson.Great western!!

The film is certainly a very interesting one. I read that Hawks and Wayne intended the film to be a conservative reaction to High Noon. Arrrrrgggghhhh. Ever since finding this out I have been having problems enjoying it. But it is most certainly a masterpiece, if only a reactionary one, defending Senator McCarthy. But the music in the film is very, very powerful.
