@josakk , 7/8 is "well, if i concentrate like there's nothing else on earth I can play it", but 11/8 is just wicked. Need to be a very talented musician to be confortable in that measure.

Simon Phillips is a musician's musician. He is a virtuoso and is untouchable by petty criticism. I am not fond of his style of music (light jazz) but that is meaningless to his talent or influence. I kowtow to you Simon and thank you for your talent, teaching and transcendence.
