Is it just me or did all the old (well - 70's) scary movies have a certain extra creepiness about them? The scary movies of today are gorier but don't really get in your head... and their cool, glossiness only makes them seem less real and thus - less scary.

i urge you to watch Alien 3, The directors cut. It's actually quite good, i dismissed the third film for a while, then re watched it with a friend en enjoyed it wholesale. The 4'th was absolute shit though.
