You guys are forgetting the fact that this Evo is penalised by having extra weight added to counter act the extra advantage of being AWD. This Evo probably weighs the same as a normal road going version while the other RWD race cars will be hundreds of KGs lighter than the road going counter parts...

Yeah, not to mention most of the other gears are wayy too tall as well. Pretty surprising that they would make such a substantial setup mistake in a competitive race car.

Has nothing to do with power, the gearing of 5th is set for too high of a top speed for that course. The turbo has to push that engine up into the higher rpms over a longer, taller gear. 4th to 5th you can hear the engine note drop dramatically. Re-gear that shit, and he'll be able to stave off the 346 , gt3, and actually keep up with some of the other cars.

at a 1/4 mile an evo beat a lamborghini murcielago but of course evo's play their strenght in bends

yeah Macki, he's not trying at all...what???...although he is very smooth. he was also blocking the faster cars most of the time, which is a good way to keep your position in a SLOWER car. bet both that BMW & GT3 do faster laps....

330ci? M3... and see how the evo-Driver is driving the car.. smoothling, calm.. not even trying to go fast... thats the difference. Evos are faster then many other cars if you drive em well, and to drive as fast as other cars, you can chill behind the wheel and just follow them with no effort. saying that "evos suck" prove, that you have no knowlege about cars at all. thank you

VLN are long distance 6-24h endurance races... if all would make a single lap time attack run they would fly by the Evo and pass him with no mercie... endurance races = finish first if you wanna win you don´t push the car the whole time to the limit.. or go into infight with other to free the lane..
