In early 1998, on the night of the Royal Rumble that year. I watched and thought to myself that the Federation was a raging Gangland. "A Vince Russo Fetish", I like factions when they are credible and scheduled effectively. That Immortals/Fortune "Merger" was ridiculous, too many guys, and too much TV time lost watching all these guys in the ring, listening to them blow their own horns. I think the NWO (and DX had a huge effect but they can NOT vacuum the entire Wrestling program Mr. Russo.

@nodqcaw Samoa Joe should debut at an episode of raw interfering in a Mark Henry match,then feud with him. Joe wins the feud and will get the reputation of ending The World Strongest Man's career (he retires after the feud). He will then be involved in the IC title picture having multiple feuds with the likes of Cody Rhodes,etc.. (WWE needs to hire some good names for the mid-card) and goes on to become the longest reigning IC Champion of all time,dropping the title to Drew eventually.

@spinemelter2000 you probably haven't seen WWE lately,besides Zack Ryder all the champions have the same origins as Samoa Joe,infact i believe that a couple of years after he debuts he would be in the WWE title picture.

Probably. Here's the thing about WWE. They don't want wrestlers like Samoa Joe or athletes right now. They want bodybuilders, roid monkeys, models (a.k.a. the Divas), and guys with movie star looks. They want entertainers. As talented and as amazing of a wrestler that Samoa Joe is, he does not fit the WWE's current agenda. After all, I cannot imagine Joe working for a "global media entertainment company" that puts on weekly "action-packed soap operas" and puts on The Muppets.

I would want to see Samoa Joe taken seriously and be the champ in any company. But he doesn't have any one-dimensional gimmicks or tacky catchphrases, which are a must in WWE, so they would probably embarrass or bury him. He'd probably end up like Braden Walker.

I agree with what you said about Samoa Joe! He can't be a comedy figure, especially as he has a reputation of being aggressive and dangerous in TNA (when he's used properly). Hopefully Vinnie Mac signs him up! Or the "COO" }{ }{ }{
