Two beautiful songs from Clannad's instrumental album Atlantic Realm, set to my unedited photos of the Moon. I felt these two songs blended perfectly with the lunar images.
Clannad's musicianship and compositions always move me beyond words. Although the album Atlantic Realm was created as a soundtrack to a BBC documentary about the Atlantic Ocean, I feel and hear many celestial qualities in the music. When the Moon is framed by trees, it conjures thoughts of the incredible difference between organic growths and beings and something lifeless, barren and alien to our very concept of reality.
The juxtaposition of Earth's natural satellite, glowing hauntingly from space and the living trees that cover our planet, flows quite well with this other-worldly soundtrack, wouldn't you say? After all, the sea is not unlike outer space, a vast expanse, filled with wonder and mystery.
Beautiful photography and study of the moon. Favorited and put in Best Music playlist.

...and you're right. There's still so much we don't know about the depths of the ocean and the vastness of space. Perhaps we weren't meant to. A little bit of wonder goes a long, long way...
