Sometimes I am so alienated from society, I forget the craziness that is going on. Yes, I suspect psych drugs would pretty well lock down the brain. And let's not forget TV--not primarily the content, the process itself. Jerry Mander documented the semi-conscious brainwave state it produces.

My favorite medical author(confessions of a medical heretic, etc.) said never go to the doctor unless you have to be carried, and I pretty well follow that.
