@1too3fore U knw thats cuz some cars can have reverse polarity and you really don't wanna have wrong wires connected to the wrong terminal unless its a computer controlled sofisticated charger which would not activate on the wrong terminal.

@1too3fore He clearly explained why he showed both ways. It depends on your car's grounding system. Most cars use the first hookup, when you buy a car you should find out which one your car has.
