Many Chicagoans believe the best views of their city are found not from the observation deck of the city's tallest building, the Willis (Sears) Tower, but from the top of the John Hancock Center at 875 N Michigan Ave on the Magificent Mile.
Although the Hancock Center has an observation deck, many visitors choose choose to take in the scenes with a drink or a meal at the building's Signature Room and Lounge. The Signature Room is a restaurant located on the 95th floor; the lounge, located on the 96th floor, has a bar and serves a variety of appetizers.
Joe Askins of YoChicago.com and NewHomeNotebook.com visited the Signature Lounge in early July 2009 and shot some footage of the views to the north, west, and south.
what an incredible city!
