Phoenix - Knoebels Amusement Park - Elysburg, PA - POV

This is POV (Point of View) video of Phoenix. One of the wood coasters at Knoebels Amusement Park and Resort in Elysburg, PA. Knoebels moved the ride to Elysburg between January and June of 1985 from Playland Park in San Antonio, Texas and rebuilt the ride with Charlie Dinn's assistance. This park is a must visit for everyone. Remember to always be safe when taking on-ride videos. Ride a few times before trying to record. Get familiar with the ride. Always wear a wrist strap and be safe. Most importantly follow the parks guidelines. Only take on-ride video if the park allows it.

the phoenix is a great wooden coaster!!!! it gives u a lot of airtime!!!!!! the first drop isnt that bad. of course if ur scared of coasters im not sure how that would affect that person, but its an AWESOME coaster!!!!!!!! if u ever getta chance ride the coasters @ Knoebels

@RandomProductions91 The first drop on this rollercoaster is not NEARLY as bad as the twister is. you're only going down for about a second. as for the rest of the rollercoaster, the Twister is much much smoother as it is a lot newer. the Phoenix is pretty rattly the whole time. I prefer the twister, but if it's the drop you're worried about, i'd say for sure go on the phoenix you'll be fine

I'm scared to death of roller coasters because of the feeling in the pit of your stomach when you're going down the drops (I HATE that feeling). Could you please tell me what this ride is like? I think once I'm done with the first drop I'll be all right but would you mind telling me a summary/description?
