I don't get it: why did samsung create a whole new OS - bada? Why didn't they just take Android for the wave? that would have been cheaper for them and there would have been more apps for the users.

in 2011, android and iOS will continue to dominate the os world..

windows phone will continue rising and by 3Q 2011, it will be as competitive as iOS and Android. Bada OS will rise in a slow but steady pace. With the release, of Bada 2.0, developers might turn thier heads towards Bada and develop premium games/apps for it. Symbian OS will not be the no.1 os anymore. Symbian ^3 is an improvement, but not good enough. Be mindful that Developers and apps are crucial in the life support of OS.
