Seven newly appointed Court of Appeal judges have been sworn in, in efforts to clear the backlog of cases currently before the country's judicial system. President Mwai Kibaki has said the government is keen on employing more judges and judicial staff, to ensure cases do not pile up.Meanwhile, Chief Justice Willy Mutunga also oversaw the swearing in of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, in a bid to realize full reforms in the judiciary.Ben Kitilli has the details.
