Well remember, it's the fact that she was reincarnated as Meela Nais, and maybe towards the end, Meela's soul took over Anck su namun's soul. Because honestly, i believe that Anck would've saved him, and it was truly Meela that left him behind...just by MY opinion of course...

@FARIDA326 I agree! It was a lame-ass attempt to show that Evie and Rick's love was stronger, which is utterly ridiculous. There is no way in hell that after doing all that she did to bring him back after 3000 years twice, she would run away to save herself at the end. The only way that I console myself is that it's Meela who leaves him, not Anck-su-namun.

I don't know if the writer suddenly got tired or dumb but either way,he should have known that a love as strong as those two share don't just break off like that!!!

Not after the scarab,and ultimate cursed punishment they when through,and yet found the strength and power to defeat death twice!!! Really,I think the writer need to lose is job...!!!
