Nishtha, born in 1988, has established herself as an accomplished Bhawai Dancer at the tender age of 12 in the country as well as abroad. She belongs to a learned musician family of Jaipur. Her father Sri. Rajiv Agarwal has been a reputed violinist of the country. He is a lecturer of Indian music at Rajasthan Sangeet Sansthan, the most prestigious institution of Indian music in Rajasthan. His regular engagements with all India radio and television, contributes a lot in popularizing Indian music throughout the country. Young Nishtha received her first dance lessons from her mother Smt. Madhubala Agarwal and was subsequently taught Bhawai Dance under the able guidance of the International fame Bhawai dancer Sri Rupsingh Shekhawat. Her music talent was early apparent, and as a result she gained a reputation of a child prodigy. Nishtha's first public performance came at the age of 8.. Her first taste of commercial success was the performance of Bhawai dance with the famous playback singer Sri. Ravindra Jain. She has also performed with the famous playback singer Anuradha Paurwal in T-SERIES Ghoomar. The professional organizers recognized her talent and sponsored her concerts all over the country and abroad as well. These main cities include Mumbai, Kannoj, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kathmandu, Ahemadabad, Delhi, Gorakhpur, Haridwar, Bhopal Khajuraho, Benaras, Loharu, and all over Rajasthan Province. The performance at, Chakradhar Sangeet Samaroh, Raigarh(2005) and BHEL, Bhopal (2006) added yet another feather to her cap of success. The Bhawai dance is an unbelievable combination of balance and courage which is sure to keep the audience spellbound. It takes the artist several years of vigorous practice and deep concentration to reach the present standards of performance. In sequel to this, Nishtha performs some of the most amazing feats like-:
1. Balancing her whole bodyweight on a couple of tumblers,
2. Balancing up to nine, twenty five, and forty one earthen/metal pots over her head on a single tumbler.
3. Swaying with her feet resting atop a glass or on the edge of a sword and dancing nimbly.
4. Performs the jig on pieces of broken glass and iron nails.
5. Balancing many articles and items on the head. Her vigorous practice in such a small age, inherited talent, devotion and allegiance certainly gestures her brilliant future.
