Dangerous roads in Orono/Old Town Maine

Travel behind a truck on the way to a land fill. "Legally" weighted trucks on roads too small to accomodate 100,000 gross weight trucks.

have you driven down the dirt part of college ave? or stillwater (past 95 exit?) there are potholes that I could hide in (and i'm 6 feet tall)

the bike path has frost heaves that stick up a lot. They have been there for over 5 years. And many people have fallen.

OT doesnt have any money... they spend too much on the bs police, NOTHING happens in OT, we do not need the police to have the equipment they have in NYC.

So, raise up your truck, put good tires on, and avoid those roads.

clearly this persons problem was boredom and listening to terrible music. All the roads suck in Maine PERIOD the trucks have nothing to do with it. That truck was probably empty to begin with lol

i lived on high st in OT all roads r shit up there so WHAT!!!!! Move if u dont like it!!!!!! i wish i still lived in maine!!! i will trade ya i live in florida!!!!

Thats the only bad section of that road dude i drive it all the time you act as if all roads are so horrible in old town/maine yeah they get a little rough here and there but we are Mainer's!!!! thats shit i race on roads like that all the time i have done 100+ MPH on roads worse than that trust me. and i'm from old town so i know everything and anything there is to know about the area :) and the cop thing yea they way over do it. as for the Orono Bike Trail.. thats not Old towns job it U-Maines

haha. my friend wrecked my old buick on college ave. it wasnt the roads fault tho haha.

your 100% right on the cops though. they call for backup when they pull over somebody for having a taillight out because theyre "supercops" and they think theyre changin peoples lives haha

It's difficult to maintain roads to any degree that are subjected to heavy truck traffic and the unrealistic weights they are allowed to haul, especially in our climate

the worst part is, if I made a list of the roads i travel on a semi-regular basis based on poor quality and/or danger, this road wouldnt even make it.
