and i get terrible framerates in this - and only this. Doesn't really add up, i had better with an old 7800GTS.

are you using fraps, or is it the low ram that the card has? BTW, i have the same you have. How low are your frames on the other 8800 demos w/out fraps?

Hey Lompocus,
Unfortunatly, it was filmed using fraps so the frames were affected quite a bit. Without fraps, it was running pretty smoothly without any hickups at around 40fps, whereas when using fraps I went down to as low as 15fps, averaging at 20 - 30fps.
