( http://www.TFLcar.com ) Here's an odd fact. Many of today's newest crossover can't go off-road. Of course that doesn't mean that they are not fun. It just means that while they look like they could take you to Everest and back, they can really only go on snow and dirt covered roads. Here are our top 4 fun non-offroad worthy Crossovers revealed and reviewed that we've driven this year.

  • 1:47 TOYOTA HILUX!!

  • I think the Explorer can go off road, but not the way it used to be. I think Mulally and Ford went too much on market research. However, there is a terrain system that's offered a la Jeep Grand Cherokee and Land Rover. But then, he got stuck on that hill. Eek...

  • WTF??!?!?!? Why would you ever even think about off roading in an SRT8??!?!?!?!

  • @iceyfresh130 are you insane!!!!!!! the raptor starts at 53000 cdn and awd explorer xlt...38000...and gas mileage is horrible in raptor..6.2 l...lol ford no longer has an offroad worthy SUV..yeah near 20 000 $ difference,.,they are the same price

  • touareg = luxury and style?? LOL.... you guys need to have better taste

  • If you wanna go off road in a Ford just buy a Raptor. Around the same price as the AWD Explorer.

  • Scraped underbellies

  • Im going for the Juke, sporty, more than capable and just plain hotter than the other crossovers tested in this video.

  • I love Ford....really.....their AWD system shuts off after you reach 25 mph or faster (because why would you care about handling corners in the rain or snow above 25?.....I mean it's not like anyone goes faster than 25 miles per hour right?) Now we see how poorly the new generation Exploder...I mean Explorer does off road. I guess Ford thinks off road means in a plowed level field.....makes sense right...there is no other kind of offroading right?
