  • She should be proud of herself for going through with this video. Believe it or not I'm a social person who suffers social phobia but I still can't post a tube on here.

    I think she's really brave!

  • You are a condescending idiot who has absolutely no understanding what it is like to suffer from social phobia or similar disorders. Do you think people make it up, or somehow do it because they enjoy it? They would give anything to be free of it. Mental illness is not something you decide to have, it is real and it wrecks people's lives. You really are an ignorant twit.

  • @nayomee77 Right on about drugs...I used to do it all and now have nothing artificial other than food which is creating addiction too...but that is my fault, not the substance...

I still isolate and simply cannot make myself to go out...I stay inside and eat and am getting fat..not good but at least I do not take the stupid drugs...

...it's hard to cope sometimes...I pray and talk to God who is always there...

  • Your hair frames your face beautifully.

  • Pretty much the same symptoms for everyone, i'm exactly the same.

  • your videos have a common theme to them. You act as if you're in front of the class giving a presentation on a topic of your choice, an assignment that ALL the other students were given and no one wanted. You act as if we might possibly be interested in the content when all we're really interested in is YOU, as a person. EVERY ONE of us is DYING to know you, just sitting here eating our HEARTS out that this "conversation" is one-sided. YOUR side. Not ours.

  • I wish you the best in life. I have symptoms that are borderline shyness/social phobia. The feeling of being the center of attention and difficulty socializing and making friends is something i also have struggled with for a long time. Deep down I'm quite out-going. Unfortunately I'm only like that when i'm with my family. When I go back to college I become the shy girl again. It's so frustrating because sometimes I don't know who I am. I pray that all social phobics find happiness

  • I have ADHD, O.C.D, and S.A.D and i think therapy and drugs such as meds is a good combination, ima try it but alcohol is good for me sometimes but i have adhd so out of no where it will seem my s.a.d is done away with but until i am not hyper anymore then like i will realize that my s.a.d and ocd is still there or when even if i am very comfortable with the person, i wud hardly get s.a.d but OCD will get stronger and i had OCD for 4years now n thats a killer, worst than s.a.d i think.

  • I am a recovering heroin addict. I too am Australian. I am a recluse. I stay home and compose music. Outside of that, I don't leave home either. So what. I still struggle with my own self. But I am not big on diagnosis or pills. I done em all baby. Like a bandaid on cancer. Nero-elasticity is what you should research. Watch- 'what the bleep do we know'. And I think you would benefit from some kind of 12 step program. I commend your courage in your video.

  • I feel ya. I currently feel like I'm losing control of the situation. "Further down the spiral" I never even heard about social phobia until I saw a doctor the one and only time, and was diagnosed with it.
