Burn Cycle is a tremendous game and finally u can play it on new pcs. I've found a patch that makes it run in windows 7 and u can also emulate the cdi version on the pc which is a lot better. The PC version looks so dated and ugly whereas the cdi one doesnt look as bad.

I remember playing the PC version and there was a game breaking glitch at the end so I never actually finished it...

That almost sounds like a challenge! I will probably pick it up at some point though I might end up with the 32X/CD version as that has the best video.

This was probably the only *good* FMV or "interactive movie" game that I ever played. Well, it's the only one I played that I liked, anyway. It had an interesting storyline with likeable characters, nice environments, AND actual *gameplay*. Something I never really found in any other game that I played in this genre. Well, there's also Wing Commander III. But I never really thought of that as an FMV game.

It's a shame there's no replay value to this as I quite enjoyed it. Wing Commander 3 was by far my fav 3DO game made even better by the flight stick (I think I did a vid of it).

Yeah, I just got a 3DO again with Wing Commander III and a bunch of other stuff. Sadly, the flight stick that came with it sticks to the left, rendering it utterly useless. Sucks. I was really looking forward to that. I've never had the opportunity to play it with the flight stick. And I'm gonna have to look for this one on eBay.

They sell for about £20 on ebay :( Have you considered opening the stick up and giving it a good clean inside? Failing that you could try pouring a bit of isopropryl onto the base of the stick and letting it seep through. It evaporates in a few minutes and I use it for cleaning all sorts.
