@timlampe Actually, he's written countless songs on piano. Even at his audition, he said that he mainly writes songs on piano.

that's a very sad looking baby grand for a big scale performance.doesn't sound nice especially on the high register (the piano).

Mats voice is great , and this version is very good, but he has a long way to go to be in the league of rai thistlewayte. watch rai live on a piano and u will be shocked at how talented he is with his voice and his hands. but keep it up matty.

I'm kinda glad that Matt didn't win. When I was in Australia and saw Australian Idol Matt was on. My back was turned so I couldn't see him but his voice really got to me. So why am I glad he didn't win....well because that sets him free to make his own music! Love that, he is a songwriter so I wanted to hear his songs! But he was my all-time fav from that season!
