The ESRB can't rate LSDj- it's homebrew software, meaning it was developed without Nintendo's consent.
And LSDj doesn't just have to make Techno music. I've heard smooth jazz, ska, hard rock, and hell, even classical music made with it.
There's no need to generalise things.
