The build-up phase is very important because it increases the pool of participants that will play Darkfall on its' conditions (live/win or die/lose).

- But, for this to ever be successful DF 2.0 needs to be so brilliantly structured that it encourages people to stay and build a zerg empire even if you are left alone, weak and you've lost everything with zero morale to go on.

@SoloRaiderPvP The game systems need to support growth and development to such a degree that it's natural and you don't even need to think before you automatically start building, growing and developing again.

Now I ask you:

Which better way to test if Darkfall 2.0 is THAT brillianty structured other than putting players of all skill levels, experience and wealth together into one server and putting the new game to a real test of success and sustainability?

@SoloRaiderPvP Whatever any pro-wiper will say, I cannot see a wipe be anything else but a small patch on a huge wound that won't stop bleeding.

The real problems are there and a wipe will only stall for time. I'm tired of waiting on Av. Aren't you? I have fun and I play despite poor development progress. I deal with it. So why should I have to pay the price of a wipe when there is no guarantee it will be good enough?

We've heard Av (Tasos) hype Av's progress and work so many times that it's impossible to gauge real success from his own excitement. And Av themselves can't know for sure if it will work.

@TheCashMommy Nope. I have played since launch and still have a sub on EU. If I decide to transfer I will place my items on an alt so I lose nothing if I come back. I don't really want a wipe but to see Celiah's tears is worth it. It's the ones who are crying about their virtual items and stats being lost that are the babies. It's a game, get over it.
