TeeTop's Songs of the Year 2011 (Part 7)

Songs of the Week (January Week 1) will be uploaded on Monday.

Since I have no life, I'm celebrating the new year by taking a look back on the music that basically defined 2011 for me. This countdown isn't based on ANY official charts whatsoever so keep that in mind while viewing.

I should also note that you'll see several songs that were released before 2011. I came into the year somewhat new to Kpop and completely new to Jpop so any songs that may be more than a year old are still included because they've been in my weekly countdowns and have a high enough score to make the Top 200.

To make the list as non-bias as I could, I based all positions on scores. The algorithm is simple. A song gets 30 points for being #1, 20 points for being #2-15, and 10 points for being in "Not Quite". I wanted to make sure play count played a role because it had the biggest role in determining my Songs of the Week, so I added play count divided by 2. And that's how I made the Top 200.

Again, this isn't based on ANY official charts, so plenty of songs that may have not been popular will appear and many songs that were popular may not be as high as you'd expect.
