In this GTD video, I discuss your next action context lists.

When you first start GTD, you'll find out really quickly that if you are not getting things done, it's because thing are getting stuck on these lists.

Later we'll work on some strategies to get these items moving on and off, but for now, especially if you are first starting, go with the lists that David Allen recommends. Fine tune your GTD system later.

  • what i didnot get from the book how can u organize plans or projects or goal that take a long time meaning 2 years plan or 5 years plan and have can u make it relitive to ur daily life

  • Sorry I initially missed your comment or I would have replied sooner. The best thing you can do with regard to projects is have a list of your active projects to review each week. I'd also suggest a folder for a project like you mention. Each week review the project to determine what the next step is and get that into your system. Getting your projects under control becomes clearer as you get your runway actions under control. I hope that helps.
