I'm afraid it has come to this, after 3 and a half great years of making new friends (oh and videos) I'm afraid that I'm been forced into closing my account by ScrewAttack at the end of this week.

It does pain me immensely for all the years of hard work everyone has put into this channel to be demanded into closing it, all just because I finally got my wish of becoming a partner and possibly having finances to make new content. Only to have that snatched away from me.

I just hope that you can take the time out to visit my new account, so we can have more memories together in the future! If you haven't already subscribed to me, please do so now!!! Thanks ever so!!!

PS I have listened to my mention on their podcast this week, I would say it was most reasonable, they didn't lie in it, but it seems like they were given the incorrect information which put them to this decision.


I did also explain to them being severely ill for along time which was the main reason for my lack of videos and only uploading old stuff.

I am not a fan of Mr. Larry, but how can screwattack force him to shut down his account if the name itself is from Metroid and not theirs to begin with? I don't even see why stuttering craig would give a shit.

@SecretSquaff We are going to talk more about it on Wednesday, but I think it's because Craig wants to disassociate ScrewAttack with Guru Larry because he has his videos scattered all over the internet. Including a ScrewAttack knockoff website, and ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.

If a staff member called themselves BusyStreet and then wrote articles for other websites as "Busy Street", I would be pissed too. But Craig is a money hungry son of a bitch, which explains why AVGN DVDs are so damn expensive.

Craig can't take down someone just because of a channel name on YouTube. And besides, the name ScrewAttack originally came from the Metroid games so he has no right to bitch about what others do with that particular name. As a result of this, Larry was forced to make a new channel and earn the ads from there instead of his original YouTube account that he's been used to for a few years now. The only good thing about this is that Larry's no longer promoting ScrewAttack in any way.

@SecretSquaff It's not like Larry did much at SA since he joined SA; he was doing more stuff at the other sites. He has released tons of videos at TGWTG, Retroware, and even his short-lived gig at X-League. How much has he posted at ScrewAttack? Almost nothing.
