If you knew the game, you'd know that the post is the HARDEST position to learn in the NBA. Getting a big man to develop the footwork and positioning on the block takes years. It took Olajuwon about two years in the pros to begin to really play naturally, and he was about as gifted a center as you'll ever see.
Oden has things you can't teach - size, good hands, agility. The rest he'll learn as he gets more experience.

@doritos003 Took just as long as Blake Griffin took (1 missed season). Anyone who talks shit about Greg's bad luck is just happy that he hasn't been able to completely dominate their favorite team for 75% of his career.
