You know , you can cut the bottom off a bag and then cut a helex out of it givne you a lenthg of say 15 feet put as many as you want and weave them together after you spin them

@mariare0 Yes, you could if you wanted to, don't know how the dog would feel about it. I think I would try to make one out of yarn as that might feel better on the dog's neck. :)
If you make one send me a picture please! I shattered my hand and can't make much of anything anymore.

@AmericanPitBulls, about your question, depends where are you located?? I've shattered my left hand a few months ago, but will be happy to try and make you a leash, it will just take me longer. :)

I've never tried to braid the plastic bags.... I think though that this square knot would be much tighter and stronger even for a 6 lb Chihuahua. :) Works great on my 12 lb Min Pin.
My friend made one for her horse and has been using it for a couple of years now, she loves it. Be sure to watch my video on how to make this leash with out any glue!
