Remember, Iron Maiden picked Blaze over Doogie White, now known for being in the 90s version of Rainbow. And Doogie's got a damn good voice.

I remember going to see wolfsbane at a club in Coventry in the 1980s with 20 or so people there, met the band and had a drink, never thought they would make it big until some years later I read in a mag that they made it big in America, I was gob smacked to say the least, great guys though

I think he was more natural in the Wolfsbane than his Iron Maiden times.....he also recorded greats song with Maiden... we can´t compare Blaze with Bruce and Paul Dianno....

@gombie Maybe Blaze's songs wouldn't sound as good with Dickinson singing them. I like his Maiden carreer too, even if I am a huge Bruce-Maiden fan. Even Di'Anno is good. Iron Maiden didn't change a lot with the singers.

To all the haters of Blaze with Maiden: They thought he was good. Trust me, they wouldn't have gotten somebody they didn't think was very good. They obviously saw him in Wolfsbane, thought "Well that guy sounds awesome" and then hired him.
Plus, I like Blaze in Maiden.
