Well I finally finished restoring my Jubilee. I recapped it, replaced a relay to solve a channel switching problem, after trying a lot of tubes, settled on some Sovtek =C= power tubes and stock preamp tubes.

I think she sounds killer. Running it thru a V30 loaded Marshall Cab. Nothing technical here, just jamming.

  • @SebbeSlashFan Thx, I love it too.

  • Killer is an understatement, and that applies to both the Jubilee and your playing.

  • Got any OD pedals to try to tighten up the sound for the Metallica tones? Would of been a lot better there, IMO. :P

  • SICK . keep going .

  • @6StringMoFo No problem. I'm looking forward to hearing more.

  • @Jpalmieri4 all my live band clips are the DSL

  • @6StringMoFo thats what i seem to be hearing a lot :p i can get a jubilee for $1500 or a dsl for $750 so its tough lol

  • @Jpalmieri4 The Jubilee does one thing but it does it well. You can push the front end too for more drive. The DSL on the other is stupid flexible. Glad I have both cause choosing would be difficult.
