Filmed on location in Brevard County, Florida where I live.

Time lapse scenes leading up to the liftoff of Shuttle Discovery on October 23, 2007 from Cape Canaveral, Florida. This video is comprised of 652 still frames that were taken with my Canon EOS 30D.
This Discovery mission was to increase the size of the International Space Station. During the unfolding of the new solar panels, one of them developed a tear that resulted in a daring space walk to stitch the torn panel together. Discovery returned to Earth on Wednesday, November 7, 2007.

I would like to see the shuttle trail in a timelapse.... breaking up and twisting over the hours past launch.... that would be amazing.
