As I walk through the hallway of the hospital




I take a look at my life

Bout to graduate from school

Cause Ive been so well trained in respiratory

even my teacher thinks that im bound for glory

I got a page from ER, patient in distress

Got admitted today, gunshots to the chest

We betta focus on intubating

And no debating

Or this jag wont make it hell croak right here

Reachout for the Mac, and I check the glow

Tube passed through the chords and the xray would show, fool

Im the kind of Rt that students wanna be like,

Workin day or in the night

Giving lung disease a good fight

Weve been saving patients lives

Time to get RTs recognized

Were just three young studly guys

Who the nurses all fantasize

Weve been saving patients lives

When its our shift, no one dies

Were just three young studly guys

Doctors all give us high fives

Look at desaturation, they got me facing

Gas diffusion in confusion, no lunch today
So I gotta run down to the med room, Snatch a kit like im bolt cause you know he can move Im an educated fool with ABG on my mind Got my stick in my hand and im feeling my line

Im a ucf gansta, young healthcare playa

My class of 2010, leaders of the future
Fool, pursed lip breathing just one room away,

Time to nebulize the duoneb, without delay

Hes 83 now, will he sat to be 94

The way things are going I hope so

So who are we?

We are RTs

What we fight

Is lung disease




Weve been saving patients lives

Time to get RTs recognized

Were just three young studly guys

Who the nurses all fantasize

Weve been saving patients lives

While the doctors all socialize

Were just three young studly guys

And yeah we just criticized

Asthma and bronchitis, ARDS and emphysema

If you got these diseases, fo sho we gonna treat ya

Ventilators beeping, no doubt we gonna check em

Its going on in bed three

This man can barely breathe

They say his sats were dropping and my patient was crashing

If their airway aint clear, whos gonna take action?

I guess I can

I guess I will

I guess I did

Thats why I know I did my part, fool

Handling any case that could arise

And one of us has two different colored eyes
