This a 4 minute extract from a short film I directed in 1998, "Three Chords A Wardrobe" (running time 13 mins) This extract forms the central part of the story which details a domestic dispute between a creative couple. The guy, played by Marcus Graham, is a wanna-be rock star trying to write the perfect pop song in quite an unusual way while his frustrated girlfriend, played by the late Sophie Heathcote, just wants a hand fixing a light fitting. Its a contemporary battle of the sexes which results in a shattered relationship but ends in a great career move for the both of them. The two songs featured on the soundtrack were written specially for the film. "Sweetness and Tenderness", the song Nick is busily composing in his wardrobe was written and performed by Mathew de la Hunty, former front man of the Oz Indie band, Tall Tales and True - the final song is heard over the end credits. While the song, "Something More", heard over the main montage was written and performed by Jacqui Hunt, former lead singer with 90's electro pop group," Single Gun Theory".

NIce Nice short. Very clever and blackly humorous. I will show this one to friends esp obsessive musicians. One time I ruined a perfect take with a noisy poplin shirt. Nice Irony too; In the wardrobe but naked.
