Farewell Cubby

Cubby was a Samoyed I rescued and he had many health problems. I made his life much better for three years until I had to send him off to the Rainbow Bridge to wait for me. Words can not describe what I felt for him. He deserved so much more than I could give and the world let him down. I miss him every day. Hug your Sammy every day of his or her life. If you can help an abused animal in any way, I hope you will. Thanks for your comments.

This is a beautiful site ... my partner and I just lost our Sammy, Remington. He was 12 years and 1 month old when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We had him since he was 6 weeks old ... and we miss him terribly.

He look so beautiful and healthy in your photo's. It's so sad to know that people out there treats animals badly. i mean look at their innocent  cute faces the last thing you want to do is mistreat them.

Magnifique vidéo très émouvante. J'ai perdu mon samoyède il y a quelques mois, il nous manque beaucoup il est mort âgé de 14 ans d'une insuffisance rénal que nous n'avons pas soupçonné a temps. Il n'a pas souffert il c'est endormit pour toujours sous mes yeux.... il restera le meilleur chien de tout les temps pour moi, il nous aimait et je me fiche que certains disent que c'est impossible, j'ai grandit avec je sais de quoi je parle. Cubby was happy with all of the goodness you gave to him--and you never let him down :) You gave him happiness and love when he needed it the most. You will see him again one day. Now he runs with my little Eskies who are at the Rainbow Bridge :)

Beautiful video. We lost our samoyed Sol a year ago, he was only 8 but had health problems because of diabetes. I miss him so much.

We have another samoyed now called Luca, who is 12, but thinks she's a lot younger. She keeps hiding bones under the pillows and in our clothes, and spends a lot of time chasing squirrels.

But we still miss Sol so much

I rescued a Samoyed girl myself. She's 4, we've had her for 1,5 years now. She's kind of a dumb blonde, but she is very much loved. Condoleances.

I had a samoyed/golden retriever mix. He lived to be 13. My brother being in college, and my parents working most of the day, he was the only living thing I had frequent contact with. He'd always make sure to lay down near me wherever I was in the house. Near the end he was having a lot of joint problems. He couldn't even stand up on his own. While no one in my family wanted to lose him, we knew it would be for the better. He was the best friend I ever had, and I will never stop missing him.
