The Surgents socially conscious alt rock band performing Mr. Brightside written by The Killers lead vocalist Brandon Flowers and guitarist Dave Keuning.

The Surgents .. Tomas Brabec - keyboard, Ian McCarthy - guitar, Colin Oberst - lead vocals and keyboard, Gary Zimmermann - drums.

This farewell to The Surgents and thank-you to Colin Oberst (winner-composer of Canada's National T.V. Broadcaster CBC New Hockey Night In Canada theme song contest) supporters event was part of the Amnesty International Small Places Tour (founded by U2 band member The Edge with Peter Gabriel) celebrating the 60th Anniversary (2008) of the United Nation's Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We also collected food donations for the Edmonton Food Bank. Thank-you to the 200+ guests for your support.
