@WhyNotJustSee Hi, how about the arms side-up (like plane) found in Ashtanga Yoga? Another question, 0:07 to 0:10, the hands are apart and they were swing forward before reaching upwards. I had learned many styles of this opening forms. Some teachers keep both palms in prayer (or in contact) even in 0:10, they only keep them apart from 0:11 onwards. I notice that would create different flexibility when we are in 0:17. The form here doesn't give complete flexibility to fold.Wats ur opinion on it?

@FATJOE190482 , first exhale, then inhale.

how do you do the breathing while you do ardha chandrasana?inhale or exhale when you keep the arms up?

this is actually chandra namaskara. the difference between sun and moon salutations is in the 4th and 7th steps where one will be performing ardha chandrasana

Though Chandra Namaskara has some of Surya namaskara posture.s, here everything except backward bend is from sun salutation. Sorry this is sun salutation with variations. Beautifully done though.

Surya namskara...

Saudação a lua?
Essa é a Saudação ao Sol.
Actually this is not a Sun Salutation. This is the only true Chandra Namaskar. The side to side moving Moon Salutation people practice is a recently created series. If you look in some of Bihar School of Yoga's books you will find this practice (with mantras as salutations were once traditionally done) outlined as Chandra Namaskar. Everything is the same as Surya Namaskar but the arms up is added in the lunge make a Cresent Moon shape.

@dima9944
It has an extra step that makes it different from the sun salutation (ardha chandrasana)
