A while ago, I decided that one of the reasons why I got hired so LATE in the production process of a given show was because I 'just' did animation, which is a very late phase. Sometimes it even gets crammed into an unthinkable deadline because of an issue that happened in an earlier stage! Also, you don't have as much control over what to move if you 'just animate'. And aside from knowing I can indeed do storyboarding myself, I had nothing to show for it!
'Overdue' is a storyboard exercise that may not be developed past that stage, because I want to focus more on the actual story. It is made purely for my portfolio. Here is the storyboard itself.
The score was composed and mixed by a talented guy named Chris Lane, and is copyrighted him. He also composed the score for my Senior film, 'Mime For A Day', 4 and a half years ago, which can also been seen on my account! Chris is in CA now working as a composer.
