In a future where beliefs are outlawed and free thinking condemned, Joseph Baros has chosen to take a stand. But at what cost?

This drama short, directed by Brandon Rice, was produced originally for the Christianfilmmakers.org 36 Hour Film Festival in 2009. It was an official selection to the Action-on-Film Festival 2009, and played in front of a sell-out crowd.

A feature screenplay based around this story is in the works.

  • Incredible quality - what camera did you use?

  • @iwantabird We used a Panasonic HVX-200 with SGpro Adapter and Nikon lenses. Thanks for the comment!

  • Wow. It's frightening just how far digital has come on. Of course, you've got to have all the other elements bang on to achieve this wonderful look, I know. But, damn, this looks fantastic.

  • @bigballblue1 Thanks! Geoff Reisner did a wonderful job in shooting this short!

  • This was spectacular! =)

I'm going to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for digital filmmaking in October.

The short film on my channel "Slot Machine" actually won me a scholarship there =)

Take a look at it sometime.

It has a slightly the same subject matter but not really. Its crapily made though, haha.

  • reminds me of those documentary reenactments, but it looks good tho, pretty good stuff
