  • I wanted to finish watching your video, but I had to stop because your annoying soundtrack made me want to rip my ears off.

  • @lendondain1

haha, I know what you're saying. Sorry about that. Unfortunately for me the video came with the music for me :(

  • why did he dress up with weapons just to put it on the ground for later why not just leave it off

  • @dannyrambo1

kata étiquette tells us to greet the judges with all our weapons and them put them down with any sharp ends facing away from the judges. Don't know why, but that how it is..

  • Eu sou brasileiro, sou faixa roxa e posso afirmar com 100% de certeza:

    isso não é JIU-JITSU! pode ser RAPi-kido ..........

  • @kriticojp

I know that you have a different style also called Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil. Worldwide people call the style in this video Ju-Jitsu (or Ju-Jutsu). It's just that we are Dutch and we call this Jiu-Jitsu in Holland and your form Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Don't worry about it: we know what we're saying and nobody is likely to confuse this style with the very popular style from Brazil. :) Chau!

  • I have been studying jiu jitsu for 14 years now and have only had to use it once in a real life situation. Did I attempt to avoid the confrontation? Was I scared? Heck yes! However, my discipline allowed me to remain calm and level headed so that I was able to defend myself properly. I regret that the altercation occurred in the first place, but without jiu jitsu I believe I would not be alive today or permanently injured. Used correctly, this art can definitely save your life as did mine.
