I am a white French Canadian. When I turned 15 on my birthday in the winter I spent nights in sleeping bag in front of US consul in support of civil rights movement and MLK during the big march. Then on my birthday we went and sat on the steps of the US consul and just die and the police came and would have to pick us up and bring us into police trucks to the police station.

I was very proud to see this brilliant and good black man elected president. i wish him well.
